Banko Gotiti Natural – Floral, Fruity Ethiopia from Yirgacheffe

🍑 Apricot // Peach // Jasmine // White Chocolate 🌸

Think ripe apricot and peach with jasmine florals and a white chocolate finish. This is Yirgacheffe at its finest—delicate, complex, and utterly captivating.

This Grade 1 natural comes from the Banko Gotiti wetmill in Gotiti kebele, Kochere district—one of the most distinguished coffee regions in the world. Managed by Alemu Bukato, the mill processes cherries from around 650 local smallholder farmers.

Grown at 1,900–2,100 masl, the combination of high altitude, fertile soil, consistent rainfall, and indigenous heirloom varietals creates those unique flavour notes that make Yirgacheffe so special. Ripe cherries are carefully sorted, then sun-dried on raised African beds for 12–15 days. They're raked and turned periodically, covered during peak sun (12pm–3pm) to prevent damage, and protected at night from moisture. Once dried, the coffee is milled, graded, sorted, and thoroughly hand-picked before export.

The result? A beautifully refined cup with strong citric acidity, sweet chocolate, and those signature floral notes of jasmine, lavender, and bergamot.
